I’m a reporter for “A More Perfect Union” project at The Philadelphia Inquirer, where I write about Philly “firsts” and how our history shapes our present.
I previously worked as a general assignment and enterprise reporter at The Boston Globe. Before that, I worked at The New York Times with columnists Nicholas Kristof and Charles Blow, and as an investigative fellow at Rewire News, a national site focused on reproductive health. I’ve written about fights over affordable housing, women’s healthcare in prison, #MeToo scandals and the “Fyre Fest” of overnight camps. I’m drawn to strange, funny, poignant stories, with people at the center.
